From 2008-09, he was an assistant coach at Montrose Christian School and Bowling Brook Preparatory School. He also served as a Bowling Brook Preparatory School assistant from 2005 to 2007. He was born and raised in Waynesboro. He attended the University of Pittsburgh.

Brenden Straughn is a Maryland native who joined the Loyola University Maryland basketball coaching staff in June 2018. He attended Hood College in Frederick, Maryland and has been a high school and AAU coach for the past five years. Prior to joining Team Takeover, an American AAU team located in Washington, D.C., he was the assistant coach.
A four-year starter at Hood, Straughn served as team captain during his last three seasons. He was among the top 10 in scoring, assists, steals, and he finished his college career as a senior. He averaged 8.7 points and 3.6 assists per game. Straughn obtained a bachelor's in business administration. He was also active in the Black Student Union/Athletic Peer Mentor Group. Straughn started his career in data processing and accounting after graduating GW.

Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson is the founder of Georgetown Coaching. His resume is impressive. He was valedictorian in his high school class and went on to play college basketball at Georgetown University. There, he was joined by future NBA star Alonzo Morning. John Thompson was also his Hall of Fame coach. He went on to play basketball for 12 years, including nine different teams and winning the WBL title. He was also a member of the David Robinson-Tim Duncan support cast for the San Antonio Spurs.
Jackson was a reserve during his two first seasons at Georgetown. He averaged about 11 minutes per game and helped the Hoyas to finish 29-5. He had strong performances against Providence (Pitt) and Providence (3.3 points).
